Memory Maker is a photography service available around the Disney theme parks. Disney PhotoPass photographers are stationed throughout Walt Disney World Resort to take digital pictures of your vacation. You will also receive your ride photos and videos while you were on the ride. After you are home, you can claim your photos online for up to 45 days after the date the photo is taken. This is also a great way to create gift items.
The memory maker can be added to your package for $185.00. Once purchased it will be linked to you’re My Disney Experience Account. If you purchase the photo pass once you arrive at Walt Disney World the cost is $210.00
Taking Photos: Disney photographers can be found throughout Walt Disney World's four theme parks and two water parks (in the Water Parks from Memorial Day to Labor Day), as well as some resorts and various other locations.
When you see the photographer, that is your chance to have your photo taken! They will scan your Magic Band, ta-da! It's yours!
You can take multiple photos! This is a great time for a complete family photo, pics of individuals, grandparents with grandchildren, etc! Don't be shy! Take all you want! These photos will probably be your favorites, when the vacation is over! And there's no limit! So be sure to take as many as you want, as often as you can!!!
There are even cameras in place on some of your favorite attractions!
ATTRACTIONS THAT OFFER RIDE PHOTOS
Using PhotoPass and Memory Maker, you can also get Magic Shots, which are fun pictures where they digitally add in a character or Disney element.
If you do not have a MagicBand linked to your My Disney Experience (MDE) account, the first photographer you encounter will give you a plastic PhotoPass card with an ID number on the back.
**Be sure to ask the PhotoPass photographer if they can do any magic shots. Depending on where they are in the park and their training, there are only certain magic shots they can do. But always ask, since they might not offer to take a magic shot picture otherwise! Also, most magic shots are only available during the day
The Super Zoom shots are new and so cool! One shot from close, extends to far away!!! There is one near the Plaza Garden in Magic Kingdom, and 2 from Hollywood Studios on Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Take a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiPHqamZtDk&t=2s
Water parks give you a special card that you wear around your wrist. Since the bracelet has a snap, it can be clipped to something like a lanyard or a backpack, or keep wearing it on your wrist wherever you go in Disney.
You will notice Disney Photopass Photographers located throughout the park. They will take your photos at some of the most beautiful, iconic photo spots, with characters, and more!
Within just a few hours of taking the photo, it will be loaded into your www.MyDisneyExperience.com account. You can view, download and share!
Did you know there’s a location at Disney Springs and near the entrance of each theme park at Walt Disney World Resort you can visit to handle all of your Disney PhotoPass Service needs? Here they are:
At these locations, Disney PhotoPass Cast Members are ready to answer your questions about Memory Maker, Memory Maker One Day, how to link and access your PhotoPass photos and videos online or in the My Disney Experience mobile app, and any other questions you might have about Disney PhotoPass Service during your vacation.
They can also assist you with any PhotoPass-related needs, like viewing and editing your photos and making digital or print purchases. In addition to Memory Maker, you can now also purchase Memory Maker One Day at these locations!
Yes! Technically, you will be the "owner" of the Memory Maker if it is on your reservation. And so everyone that is linked to your travel party, will be included! Their photos will show up in THEIR My Disney Experience account, but they will have the photopass water mark on them.
They will show up in YOUR account, with NO water mark. You can download and share them with them, or you can let them login to your account and download their own. Whatever you prefer!
